First Outfit Blog

This blog is not really anything - it's not a DIY blog, or an inspirational blog, or a fashion blog (not at all!) - it's sort of my life commentary.  So I get to try lots of new things.  And it's fun.  SO here's my first attempt at "fashion blogging" which is really me just taking a picture of myself in a dress. :)

I know.  It's dark and it's grainy and I'm in my mom's room (oh hey closet!) and it's not even the whole outfit - where are my shoes, cardigan and chunky statement bracelet?!  BUT it's one of the only times I've felt good about taking a picture of me in what I was wearing.  So I'm going with it. I'll probably try to do this like once a week from now on to convince myself that I can.  You're welcome.

Weather: Sunny - should be warm later.
Reading: Erasing Hell by Francis Chan. REALLY GOOD. I recommend it.
Eating: Nothing - yet :) Mom is taking me to lunch soon!
Drinking: coffee, what else??
Enjoying: The blogs I read daily. I love them!
Thinking: About some friends. I love them dearly.
Wondering: What my new job will be like! I'm really excited.
Needing: To wrap this up so I can go meet my mom!

It's Been Awhile - So Here's Something New

1. Where is your cell phone: Right in front of me 2. Your hair: Is straight. I brushed it? 3. Your mother: Is my best friend :) 4. Your father: Is alive lol 5. Your favorite food: Um, this is too hard. I think I'll go with my mom's tacos. 6. Your dream from last night: I dreamt I was an Avenger! I could fly! 7. Your favorite drink: coffeeeeee 8. Your dream/goal: I don't know yet. Just trying to be more like Christ. 9. What room are you in: In my cube at work. 10. What is your hobby: I like singing. And using spray paint - if that's a hobby. LOL 11. What is your fear: Being alone. And spiders. And clowns. And maybe feet. 12. Where were you last night: At home with the madre. We were hemming lots of clothes. And using a drill (not for hemming though - we know not to do that). 13. Something you are not: Outgoing. 14. Muffins: Are ok. I like corn muffins the best I think. 15. Wish list items: I would like some new work clothes. And a nice watch. 16. Where did you grow up: A small town. Still live there - although it's not really small anymore. 17. Last thing you did: Took a drink of my coffee. 18. What are you wearing: Jeans, button up, purple blazer and black sparkly flats. 19. Your TV: Is old - and GIGANTIC (my that i mean heavy, not a large screen) - but it works! 20. Your pets: 2 pups. Riley and Corry - my little chiweenies. I love them. 21. Your friends: Sweethearts. 22. Your life: is beautiful because God has allowed me to be where I am. I can never think anything less of it, even when it's a mess. 23. Your mood: Ready to be out of this cube :) 24. Missing someone: Always 25. Vehicle: Ruby. She's a red corolla. I love her. 26. Something you’re not wearing: jewelry. 27. Your favorite store: Old Navy. Or JC Penney's which is my new fave. 28. Your favorite color: blue! 29. When’s the last time you laughed: Earlier today. 30. When’s the last time you cried: A few days ago. 31. Your best friend: Is at work. 32. One place you go over and over: Starbucks. Darn you Gold Card. 33. One person who emails me regularly: Genea! And Karen. I miss her. 34. Favorite place to eat: Hmmmm... Arigatos. 35. Where do you want to be in 6 years: Married, having babies, still singing, being a wonderful wife and mother.

To My Baby Girl

I had a dream about you last night, and in it I got to hold you and tell you all the things I'll never get to say to you. I got to tell you how precious you are to God and how much He loves you. I got to tell you how much *I* love you. I got to tell you how sorry I am that when things ended between your dad and me, things ended between you and me too. Your dad and I may not love each other anymore, and I am not your mom, but I spent enough time with you and gave you enough hugs and kisses to be in love with you for the rest of my life.

I want you to know that I love both you and your brother very much - I love you the same - but you my darling have a special place in my heart that will always be yours and nobody elses. I regret that I will not be able to hold you again but I know that I gave you all I could give in our time together.

In my dream I got to tell you that I will always be here for you if you ever need anything, and sweetheart, I know you are too young to understand but I hope you know that is true today and always.

I struggle knowing that you probably wonder where I am and why I left and I pray all the time that you never think you had any part in that. Whatever happened was all between myself and your dad.

You are the funniest, prettiest, smartest little girl I've ever known and you made every day with you brighter. I know that it is not my place to worry about you or your future (although, I do) because God has beautiful things ahead of you. You will see one day.

Baby girl, my heart was broken this morning after my dream. In my dreams I get to say everything I want you to know. In my dreams I get to hold you for just a little longer. I get to let you know that someone in this world is on your side. I know you'll never read this honey, but it's all for you. I love you forever and ever.

MONDAYYYYYYY

Yikes! Already the end of February :( This month has taken it's toll on me (it's also taken two wisdom teeth). I'm excited for March.
